After E.R. he disappeared. Good. I watched him one night and had a nightmare. We were at some African dance class. You know they do alot of thrusts. Well the student had on African style garb. Just droppin in to give my 2 cents on the rumors...

Not really gonna comment on all of them, just one part...

@the supa group: As much as I would love to hear that album, I'm gonna be real and say that that ain't gonna happen. First off, just lookin at the clip shows that they can't get their ish together just to get in the same studio, let alone get together and vibe on a song. Plus ain't no label gonna wanna put up the money to put them out. And even if a major decided to put them out, word is, all of those cats aren't doing great financially. So knowing them, one or 2 of them will probably get a HUGE ego and demand some astronomical amount for an advance, which will turn the labels away or caused the project to be shelved. The only label I could see OFFICIALLY putting them out is Koch and Koch doesn't give huge advances because they work it so that you get more per CD instead of a huge advance up front. So I'm sure with the terms of the contract, they'll get a small advance if they get anything at all. They better be smart with their budget money if they wanna see extra money before the project drops. Going with Koch they'll just get a nice percentage of each CD sold...which they probably won't sell much because of their status to the average consumer that buys music from outlets. They're not popular enough. They may do pretty good overseas tho because they respect artists of their stature more than the consumers in the states. But then too, an artist makes most of their money from cd sells and SHOWS. Getting them all together for shows will probably be a pain in the tail for management. But that's what happens when you put a group together of solo artists with different agendas. The music industry is insane right now. I hate to sound so harsh, but I work in the music industry, so I see how they do. Illseed is right when it comes to them being shady. Most of them are! Everybody in that group are lyrically insane which is what us TRUE hiphop fans like. But to a record company, none of them have enough MAJOR buzz to put out a major project. I don't see them putting out much more than a mixtape ya'll, and that's just bein real. I hate it tho because they would have an INSANE project, especially if they put more than 3 WEEKS into it!! What the heck is that??? Of course all of this is just my opinion...

I feel you, I guess being a star puts pressure on everyone around you. More than likely her family seemed as if her sister marrying a hood dude didn't bother them. I would have thought the movie check could have gotten her mom into a nice suburb outside the city. I know you don't wanna be classified as a sellout but when you get money like that you have to start making better life decisions. It seemed like they may have been comfortable staying in the city. Anyways, dude shouldn't havve been pumpin nothin out the house, just plain old hot especially where ya moms stay at. No respect for the game.....

Yes i do think that we have it backwards but not because our parents are suppose to have something set aside for us when we get a certain age ... that's not how it's suppose to be and that's what got us all fucked up now... we should be looking for hand outs.. not even from our parents...

Instead .. while where young our parents are suppose to be teaching us the value of money and the importance in saving money ... they are also suppose to be showing us how to make money on our own... i live in jersey and when you go threw the white parts during the summer you see little kids with lemonade stands.. there learning how to run a business before they really know what anything is.. and that's what our parents aren't doing for us .. in stead they are showing us that the only thing important is what you can put on your back and to have the latest shit ... and that's what needs to change...

It was deep, I liked the whole mixture of Race & Problems portrayed in the special.
Notice how he didnt show any Asians or Middle Eastern people with problems. (Not saying that they dont have problems, but ALOT of them are doing WELL)
The Black, White, & Brown were shown with issues & that was pretty accurate.
I never hear anything about Asians with Healthcare problems, nor do I hear about Arab Americans with any.

Just my observation.

I agree with you but i think you have it a litte twisted...

Yes i do think that we have it backwards but not because our parents are suppose to have something set aside for us when we get a certain age ... that's not how it's suppose to be and that's what got us all fucked up now... we should be looking for hand outs.. not even from our parents...

Instead .. while where young our parents are suppose to be teaching us the value of money and the importance in saving money ... they are also suppose to be showing us how to make money on our own... i live in jersey and when you go threw the white parts during the summer you see little kids with lemonade stands.. there learning how to run a business before they really know what anything is.. and that's what our parents aren't doing for us .. in stead they are showing us that the only thing important is what you can put on your back and to have the latest shit ... and that's what needs to change...

I'm fortunate cause my mother didn't bring me up thinking that it's all about what i got to show people but what i have in the bank .. but im at a disadvantage because she didn't show me how to do the business side that's something i'm looking to change with my own daughter.

Damn, you hit it right on the nose. BTW JR, I'm from Plainfield and raised in Elizabeth. Nobody ever showed me how to account for money or about money. It took for me to get in some real financial trouble to learn about money. I was listening to people who don't have money tell me what to do and wound up all types of fucked up. I now teach my son the value of money and that being a consumer at all times with all the latest new ish will have you 1 broke adult. I think we as the new generation need to teach financial discipline to the next generation...... Glad to see you brothers thinkin just like me...
