The Kanye West video is very creative and a step above anyone elses video you can name. Just before the drums hit the African dancer come in and you see them playing the drums. The pan of the camera is great also and at the end he's on the sofa with a confused or heatbroken look that goes with the theme of the song. He is really expressive in this video without doing much.

Everything they use to oppress people with, they write them down in books and journals, some people apply what they learn while other people believe that their oppression is the result of individuals and not institutional policies and practices. Barack Obama might become the most powerful man at the head of the executive branch of the US Government as an institution of socioeconomic power. Figurehead or not he will have sway. G.W. Bush was called a puppet too but look at the destruction that puppet's signature has brought to the US and the world. When your signature can order 100,000 men and women to their death you shouldn't underestimate that type of power.
