August 26, 2008. DENVER, Colorado (AFP) — Four people have been arrested in Denver amid fears of a plot to kill Democratic White House hopeful Barack Obama, a local report said Monday.

Denver-based CBS34 said one of the men arrested had told authorities they were "going to shoot Obama from a high vantage point using ... a rifle ... sighted at 750 yards (meters)."

The shooting was supposed to happen on Thursday when Obama will accept the nomination as the Democratic Party's presidential candidate for the November elections at the 75,000-seat Invesco stadium, the television station reported.

One man was arrested on Sunday after police found two high-powered rifles in a rented pick-up truck he was driving, it added.

Another man arrested was reported to be wearing a swastika and was thought to have links to white supremacist groups.

The US Attorney's Office in Denver has scheduled a press conference on Tuesday to discuss the incident, but Attorney Troy Eid told local media he did not believe there was a threat to Obama.

"We're aware of the matter discussed tonight by the Aurora Police Department," Eid said in a statement quoted by the Rocky Mountain News daily.

"Federal law enforcement is working hand-in-glove with the Aurora Police Department. Because this matter is currently under investigation, there is little we can say right now.

"We can say this: We're absolutely confident there is no credible threat to the candidate, the Democratic National Convention, or the people of Colorado."

The alleged plot was being investigated by the Secret Service, which is in charge of coordinating security for the Democratic Party convention as well as the FBI and the joint terrorism task force.

That DVD X COPY company was put out of business and I got a legit copy on cd and they won't let you register it no more so its like a cup holder man... I have it on my desk top in my moms house so I have to go there to burn DVD's but they have a new company online but I never heard of any reviews..

I tried NERO and a whole lot of other programs but the DVD's are protected and it won't let you burn them.

After seeing this video, my first reaction was "well just listen to these kids...it's obvious WHY they would identify and vote republican. They are preppy, they talk proper, they're not what you would consider traditional 'hip hop,' and they probably come from bread. But ultimately, on the issue of Democrats and Republicans, I think that people put too much emphasis on that shit. Like, if a black person votes Republican then they have sold out.

In all actuality, a long time ago BLACK PEOPLE used to vote Republican because a republicans stood for the republic, in a greater sense, the country. Democrats stood for democracy. Democracy, in its original context, was never a good thing. I think that it CAN be a good thing given the situation at hand, but to this day, Democrats get bashed a lot because of the foundation their party is built on. And as we all know, time brings about change and tables often turn. These days the majority of black people vote democrat and arguably, more whites vote republican. I think that soon, the tables are gonna turn again and Blacks will begin to vote Republican again...especially IF and AFTER Obama gets the office. You can already see it happening, I mean, look how Bill Clinton flipped the script...we used to think he was for black progression. I still think he is for black progression and he isn't racist, but he has the typical mindset of a white man...he doesn't want a black person over him.

In the end, politics is bullshit. I normally vote Democrat, but there have been some Democrats that I could give two shits for. Hillary Clinton would have never recieved my vote, and if I had to have a Republican president again, my vote would have went to Mike Huckabee because I agreed with a lot of his views.

The parties have flip-flopped since the end of the Civil War (remember, it was the REPUBLICAN party that fought for freedom from slaves). I don't want to go into a long list of the things the Republican Party has done for/against African-Americans, nor the same for the Democrats. I just want to say this...

If you truly believe in your HEART that the candidate you are voting for is doing what's best for YOU and for the PEOPLE, then I say vote for that person. I don't care WHO it is...I always say, and will continue to say, no matter who you vote for, it's politics, so they are bound to let you down one way or the other on different things. I don't even make $100K/yr yet, but I do know that Barack is wanting to add some hefty taxes to those who make the most money. My goal is for those taxes to affect me, because I want to be in that high bracket. My HOPE is that IF he becomes President, his stance will slightly change (I just don't see the people who make that kind of money...politicians, judges, Senators, lobbyists, etc...letting that happen). In all honesty, my ONLY issue w/Obama is his idea on how to TAX people, and I may just be slightly ignorant to all of his plan.

But I do know I'm NOT voting for McCain because I can't stand another 4 yrs of the Bush mentality in the office. I knew I wasn't voting for the Republican nominee the minute they showed they wanted to stay in Iraq. I don't think people here truly understand what our soldiers are going through over there. I have tons of family who fought in Vietnam, and I know some of the people over there now, and the majority of them DON'T want to be there. I think as a country we need to bring our troops HOME. Especially considering they went to fight a war with a country that's not even responsible for what happened on 9/11. Where's Osama? How about handling that FIRST!? Anyways...

Enough of my ramble. My thing is...vote for who you think embodies the values, morals, and beliefs that permeate your thought process. Don't just VOTE for Obama because he is black. Yes, if he happens to win, he will be the first Black President. But you know what...would he be as incredible a man as he is if he had a black mom & dad? ight fam check it i jus got back from best buy after coppin LAX i wanted to also cop Bishop Lamonts cd...but his shipment hadn't arrived yet...but i'ma go back later today to see if it has...newayz after briefly listenin to LAX in the car and now at home lemme say i am not impressed...he starts off the album wit a crazy intro from DMX...i say its crazy cuz DMX says about 10 times "devil we rebuke you in the name of jesus" ironic comin from him over and over again...i don't kno for a cd called LAX havin DMX on the intro seems off to me...

well next track is 'LAX Files' its an alright song...not somethin i feel could start off this most anticipated album he has been hyping up for 5 months...so u can pass on that track now this track he got wit Ice Cube is fire 'State of Emergency' this most def should've been the track to open up the album...its got that new west coast sound and its got an old west coast sample u might recognize...lyrics is decent well kind of weak a few times specially when game said "i should've put these niggas in check like my nikes" now how many times have we heard that line before...Cube is jus posted on the hook...overall though this a strong track and highlights Game as a story teller as he raps about goin through l.a. hoods...

now the next track is 'BulletProof Diaries' ft. Raekwon to me this ain't so much of a Game track to me...its a hard track nonethe less but its sort of forgettable...the 5th track is 'My Life' wit Lil Wayne i cannot stand this bullshit ass track i skipped right over it, 6th track is 'Money' not really impressed by this either the beat and production is good but Game jus does not sound like a good fit for the song...the title of the song is self explanatory...

lets move on 'Cali Sunshine ft. Bilal is also a very well good produced song but its jus not the Game we're so use to hearing...u might skip over this one too...'Ya Heard' the 8th track ft. Ludacris i once again have to say this is a skippable track...not a Game type of track...sounds alot like 50 on this joint too...overall this album is lookin real commercial....skip to track 9 is a interlude...

track 10 'House of Pain' is a very well produced track...in a instant when the beat drops it'll catch ya ear...Game is on his punchline game on this one..."before you be a muthafuckin vegetable/these scrap niggas too animated like the incredibles" overall very solid track...'Gentleman's Affair' ft. Ne-Yo is another solid track where Hip Hop and R&B collab...the hook will make u remember this one

'Let Us Live' ft. Chrisette Michelle produced by Scott Storch is a very smooth track...could've been her track alone...Game did his thing...but fa real after listenin to this....doesn't even seem like it was a Game song...track 13 'Touchdown' ft. Raheem Devaughn once again a very smooth track but its not a Game track...its not the type of artist Game is...it can definately be a radio hit...but that is all...Game went very LLish on this one

'Angel' ft. Common one of my fav. tracks from the album...hands down to me the best track actually on the whole album...'Never can say goodbye' ft. Latoya Williams is an ode to the fallen rappers Biggie, Pac & Eazy...its coo...one of the more solid tracks from the album....but doesn't even sound like Game is rappin...must've had a cold the day he recorded it...next track is 'Dope Boys' ft. Travis Barker...not too much to say about this track cuz its been all over the radio and tv...its a coo track though one of his more stronger joints on the album...track 17 is 'Game's Pain' ft. Keyshia Cole..it is what it is...last but not least the 18th track is 'Letter to the king' ft. Nas which is a very smooth, back to the essence of hip hop type of track...then after theres an outro wit DMX thanking the Lord.

so thats jus the regular version of the album...if u copped the 'Deluxe Edition' then u would've gotten a second disc wit 4 tracks on it which were 'Big Dreams' 'Camera Phone' 'Nice' and 'Spanglish'...for 'Big Dreams' its anotha hard track, great production and he does his thing on it...'Camera Phone' is alright...forgettable...u might like it but nah not for me...he dumbed down for this... 'Nice' ok track...beat will have u turnin it up...not somethin u would put on an album...alot of name droppin like the usual...more like some mixtape shit...the last track 'Spanglish' is decent...not the type of joint you would hear from an American rapper becuz he is rappin in spanglish...i'd listen to it...but i wouldn't put it in my mix

ok now overall i'd have to say out of all the 3 albums he's released in his career...this is the worst of all 3...i think on this cd u'll walk away wit the feeling like 'dam he needs Dre' becuz on this album he really tried to expand his sound and production and to me it didn't work very well...too many features...and alot of the beats aren't his sound...he'll definately go plat again becuz of the hype behind it but i think alot of people will be dissappointed...i think on this album he went away from wut your use to hearing in his lyrics...becuz he has alot of easy commercial songs on here but the concept of the album is not wut i expected...its not worth $12.99...if your a Game fan compare 'Doctors Advocate' and the 'Documentary' wit this and u'll see the difference...i don't think Game has grown as an artist wit this album he took a step back
