Obama didn’t ask, but he sure received. My homey K-Slim from Cleveland State University in Ohio hit me up and told me that Jay-Z just did a free concert there just yesterday! I heard he rocked it, as usual. What was really interesting was that Jay did this show even though his voice was giving out, I heard. K-Slim tells me that he came on at about 9 pm and we didn’t leave till about 11 pm. He ended up throwing half of his fresh fit in the crowd... Including his crispy Lebron VI's. Lebron kicked it on stage, but I heard he was messing up all the words to Jay’s songs.
BARACK IS TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH JENNIFER HUDSON
Later in the rumors, you will see Mysonne go off on T.I. for doing a PSA for Crime Stoppers. Whenever I think of “stop snitching,” I think of people like Julian, Jennifer Hudson’s 7-year-old nephew. He took two to the head and somebody cut his hand off. I just wanted to say that.
So, Barack Obama is reportedly trying to get in touch with Jennifer Hudson to offer her words of encouragement in this time of need. What is crazy is the future president (I hope) has been unable to reach the entertainer! That’s crazy! I mean, not crazy, but just means that Jennifer is just that deep into her sorrow. That’s understandable but I just think its crazy that Barack can’t get at anybody.

EMINEM TALKS MARIAH CAREY…IN NEW BOOK
Here are some excerpts from Eminem’s new book, where he addresses Mariah Carey. Somebody typed it up and sent it so excuse any sort of minor discrepancies.
With 'superman' all I ever heard people talk about is Mariah Carey. Did she inspire it? Yes, she kind of did. I don't want to get into tabloid gossip, but if you read between the lines and listen to it, you'll know what I'm talking about. I recorded it toward the end of the Eminem show. I wanted to do it with ll cool j kind of whisper, like in his song 'I need love'
That was the thing for a while with the good old-school love songs, to be gentle and playful with your voice. In 'superman' the girl thinks I'm serenading her, but I'm really telling her I'm sick of her. I'd just gotten divorced from Kim, and I wasn't going down the same road I'd already been on. This was my way of saying, I'm not going to make a love song.
Em’s album is looking more like March and I am hearing that Jay is likely to come out then now, not February.
DID MARY JANE OVERDOSE ON SHAQ STRESS?
Do you remember the name Mary Jane? I don’t mean that stuff from the Alkaholiks song. I mean that wanna be rapper that got a restraining order against Shaquille O’Neal? She charged that the big guy was threatening to do harm to her beautiful body. Sorry about that. Anyway, I heard Mary Jane has been or was admitted to the hospital in the last month or so. She reportedly overdosed on something drug-related. Now, this is all conjecture and rumor, but I heard she’s under a lot of stress.
WHO IS CREEPING?
Over the weekend, I heard a certain pint-sized mogul went to the movies over the weekend to see “Saw.” Well, he was allegedly ballin’ like money ain’t a thing with a dope Escalade, three members of his entourage, some bodyguards and others. What is interesting is that in the process of going to see “Saw” (get it…see saw?)..sorry. In the process of them going to watch the movie, it appeared that they all linked up with some super hot chicks. Inside the movie, the mogul reportedly tried to play it off like he wasn't with the girls. You know said mogul is engaged with a superstar. Was he creepin’ or trying to avoid a situation when he got home?
MORE ON LIL’ WAYNE'S SOBRIETY
I am not all into the “lean” culture, but one of my readers is. He hipped me to the mess and reinforced why Wayne is more sober than high.

You can ask anybody that is part of the "syrup culture" in Houston and they will tell you that drinking large amounts of Promethyzine w/ Codeine causes you to retain water and put on large amounts of weight in a small period of time. Not a rumor: RZA To Co-Produce “The Last Dragon” Remake, Samuel L Jackson Stars
Samuel L. Jackson is set to star in a remake of the 1985 cult classic, “The Last Dragon” with The RZA of The Wu-Tang Clan acting as the co-producer of the movie. Jackson will reprise Sho'nuff (Shogun of Harlem), which was originally played by the late Julius Carry. RIP. I am not sure I love this idea, but will wait and see.

These fans were on some next level out here. You would have thought that the Center City area would have been the least affected since it's the most protected (that rhymed). But it looks like it wasn't. They lit a commercial sized garbage bin on fire and turned a car over on Sansom street. The F.Y.E. on Broad and Chestnut had the glass in their revolving doors smashed as well as two of their HUGE plate glass windows shattered. H&M down the street suffered the same fate with one of theirs but they had safety glass, F.Y.E. didn't. A jeans and sneaker store doors away had both their windows smashed but luckily they had a security gate behind it. They even managed to make a lifelike iron statue of a man lean (see pic). I walked passed cars with broken mirrors and busted windows. They got vandalized. There were news vans up and down Chestnut Street, no doubt reporting the aftermath of the mayhem.

last night (10/29) was INSANE. in north east philly, people were throwing bottles at cops, moshing, setting off fire works, braking store windows, chicks showed there tities like on demand, people tryed to flip a news van, it was out of control. in south philly, i hear it was even more insane, they set cars on fire, fliped them, fought with the cops, it sounded amazing, ha ha ha my mom told me about her bosses friend, who owned a BMW and he parked it out front of the ritz carlton on market street. he found it this morning up side down cant wait till the parade on friday, ha ha
