The Source magazine’s got a major line-up change I am hearing. I heard that Kim Osorio is gone as the Editor-In-Chief and there is a new fellow in her place named Joshua "Fahiym" Ratcliffe. Kim made history as the first female to man the Hip-Hop “Bible.” And, from what I understand, there was a lot of nothing made of the alleged “walk-out” of the magazine. I figured as much. But, there was some smoke…just no fire.
How did the peace treaty with The Game and 50 Cent come about? I heard it was none other than Russell Simmons. Well, I heard that the mogul got together with Interscope chief Jimmy Iovine to squash the problem. Seems like a good idea even if it was pretty clear that Game and 50 were a little uncomfortable with being homeys again.
Some love Jada’s diss and some seem to think that it’s a left jab in 50 Cent’s face. A jab in 50’s face? In boxing, a right handed boxer will put the left jab out there to set up the heavy right hand to K.O. an opponent. I say all that to say that I heard from a number of sources that Jada has five disses ready to rock when/if 50 decides to come back. I actually believe this because the early word was that the Jada diss to “Animal” was actually a song, not a freestyle. So, there you have it. Expect sparks to fly for weeks. And Fat Joe’s diss is definitely serious like a KRS-One/Steady B collaboration.
If you happen to read that AHH’s own Nolan Strong wrote a story about Ciara being a trannie he/she, don’t believe it. We didn’t write it, but somebody is trying to be creative with starting rumors. Ciara is alllllll woman, baby!
