This is DMX "Earl". The man when he is clean of toxins, and not chasing his next high. It is up to him like everyone else whether or not he stays off drugs.

I hope he does!

One might say his reference to how he always had a gospel song and a prayer on each album is a measuring stick to him defeating his demons. 15 negative dark songs, and 1 gospel song is unbalanced. Let's see how his life changes once he releases the two disc project. Half regular rap(for lack of a better word), and half gospel. It's like he sees his calling, but he will not fully commit to it. Maybe he is finally ready. I just hope he realizes that he may have finally excepted God, but there still will be test in life. The only difference is he will not be dealing with it alone from now on. None of us are perfect, it's just about your faith when it comes down to the bottom line of your existence.

Good news. I actually miss X being in the booth. Dude can be a beast when he wants to be. Some of my favorite tracks of his are "Who We Be" and "Lord Give Me A Sign." I like X best when he's droppin knowledge. But he definitely lost points with me during all that legal mess.
