JAJAJA Weezie is the opposite of hard working. Dude get high all day and then dosent turn up to his own concerts! Forgive me if im wrong but that isnt hard working. Hard working is not drinking, smoking, partying because you are in the studio making that fire. Hard working isnt being a "rockstar" its staying in the hood connecting with the people and fans. Being hardworking is performing at a concert even if it only has 30 people turn up like what happened to Hector Lavoe.

Weezie is original? Yes he is. Should he be compared to Jigga? No he shouldnt. Is he dope? He is. Is he hardworking? No and thats the reason alot of niggas dont like him because lyrically he is on track and his flow and all is raw but he is pissing away his talent by not putting in 110 percent and thinking he is el rey or something.

Dude is dope aiight sho but my favrite rapper isnt getting bigger numbers because wack ass niggas like Young Berg, Bow Wow, T-Pain and whoever else is playing on the radio now has changed what real hip hop is and was. Real MC's like Tonedeff, Termanology, Budda Early, A-Guttah dont get no radio play and no money because they too lyrical or they too raw. What has it come to man where a nigga who dosent even rhyme at all in his songs can sell a million (not talking bout Weezie). All im saying is-ALL IM SAYING IS-that hip hop is not about the numbers. It never was and it shouldnt be still because hip hop is a form of poetry performed to a beat by African American and Latin youths from urban environments. Now im not saying Rick Ross isnt hip hop cos thats bullshit but it is also bullshit to say one nigga is more dope than another nigga because he sells more. Thats bullshit. Hip hop was never about money and record deals like i said its poetry and that determines how dope an artist is tu know.

Like i said this is with all due respect to Weezie and u (Hot97) but im sick of people saying that Weezie is better than so and so because Weezie sells a million records and the other person only sells 20 000. KRS One is by far a better MC than Nelly but Nelly outsold him does that mean that Nelly is more dope than KRS?? No it means that the record labels and media dictate what is dope and what is not when in fact the people should be doing that. Period.
