Why do people want to add to the trio. No guest appearances, stick to one producer, like a Premier, 9th Wonder or Madlib, to do the whole production and bring like so. It should show the young people what it was like to make an album that was just the people whose names were on the album title. Collaborations show the weakness in not maintaining a whole album. All three of these MCs have done albums of just themselves or just an unknown or two to compliment a song or two. I think a Nas / Ice Cube / Scarface album would be a solid one. I really think adding a fourth person would fuck it up (if they aren't careful).

No diss to Bun B...but there's really no need for him. We would already have Face who'd represent the South. Plus I have rarely heard Bun get political, which I think is the idea of the project. But if you wanted to go for some four horsemen shit...my pick would be

Nas (East Coast)
Ice Cube (West Coast)
Scarface (South)
Common (Midwest)

The only way I'd put Common on there is if came back as "Common Sense" on this one...I think that shit would be hot! Common's a lyrical genius and would definitely hold his own...topic and lyric wise.

I really can't think of any other midwest emcees that would fit good on this project. I haven't heard too many political emcees from the midwest. Proof (RIP) may have been a good choice. I wonder if they can somehow just do it with their own doe, at least a real fire mixtape from them 3 would be dope. I think the mixtape would be better for them 3 because it wouldnt have to go through label politics and red tape, sample clearances and plus they can say what they want on it and not be censored.
