The Glastonbury fest' focus is contemporary arts, for most part I think music, so in that sense Oasis Bassist had no argument, now speaking from conjecture myself, over time it probably became a goes-without-saying type of thing that it's a rock festival just because the main acts had been rock n roll for a long time or either thats the most popular music in the Glastonbury area.

I never even heard of this Oasis before this Jay-Z beef cause I don't like rock( it's too loud). But I have to say that If these Oasis people took the first shot then they are wrong. If Jay_Z was invited to the festival by the people who are in charge then there was obviously a demand for him. It's not like he just showed up and said "get the f*** outta here Noel Gallagher and crew". So they needed to show some respect because he is an artist like they are. I don't wanna call racism but anytime I hear "you People" or "those People" I get a start to get a little suspect.
