I'm surprised that more moguls/ record execs dont do this anymore. Its like Jay is creating a multi-faceted label with in house production from the baddest producers in the world. Its what Barry Gordy did at Motown to create Hitsville, USA. For some reason after Swizz was with Ruff Ryders, Mannie was with Cash Money, and Just Blaze with Roc everyone has kind of drop the in-house producer thing. Its a good idea to me because it means that you get the creme of the creme. So good move for Jay. He's doing what no one else is doing in the industry is doing. With all the mouth and money that 50 has, he isnt even relevent in the music idustry anymore. Its obvious that all of those dudes that we jocked 10 years ago, who among them were just in it for the hustle and whos in it for the music. Jay's doing his thing. When it really comes down to it, is jay making moves...and I originally didn't like dude.
