there was alot of material recorded by the deathrow camp during that era.what alot of people don't know is that alot of that unreleased stuff was leaked.I personally had 2 tapes worth of snoop,dre & the dogg pound material back then..one of my favorites was "hoe hopper",where's they used a loop from "I'm a hoe" by whodini..you could hear some stuff were reference tracks for dr.dre & how the dogg pound was trying to find their lane.[there is like 3 different versions of "so many styles"]..for those still interested in this era,you may like it but to be honest,that time to me is done..ironically,dr.dre seems to have taken to cataloguing unreleased material as well..and in time,we may begin to see this as a new trend..playing it off as a perfectionist? or stockpiling music for a greater later payday? hmm..

it's done for me too. I really don't have a label that I ride with anymore and I ain't trying to re live my past so but hey to much info...to each it's own with this choice.

See this is what I was hoping would happen when AHH wrote that article about this lady.   I still believe there was alot of very good music from the old Deathrow days that was never released and finally we the fans who loved that music are going to at least get to hear the rest of it.
     Its my opinion but I believe alot of music was not released due to Suge trying to hold onto his artists.  As an artist if you are on a 3cd contract and youve recorded material, if Suge hasnt put out that 3rd album your still under contract.  I think he was doing that to at least snoop, maybe others. So I do not think this is bullsh!t music, I imagine these are good songs that have been kept in the vault to trap those artists to the label.
       I agree with Terrazona that the artists wont see money from the records but at the same time, as a fan of the music Its hard not to go out and get that CD of someone you used to love to listen to back in the day.

i hope snoop get paid well for the album, coz it will go at least gold... i herd quite few of them tunes tho, i will still be buy it, along with most of the tunes that will be releast

I actually liked the Snoop Doggy Dogg "Dead Man Walking" LP released by Suge's Deathrow.  Not sure about Lara Lavi's release though.  Dr. Dre is on four or more tracks...his flow has never been THAT damn good...which makes me believe that Death Row never intended for those tracks to come out in the first place.
