All members of The Roots appeared on stage in France last night (November 20) for the Glow In The Dark tour, just hours after surviving a terrifying accident.

The group’s double-decker tour bus turned over on a French highway yesterday, as they made their way into Paris to serve as one of several opening acts on the Kanye West-led tour.

The accident left the bus turned on its side, with the front end of the large tour vehicle suspended in the air.

A small European minivan was also pinned between the side of the Roots bus and the asphalt as a result of the crash.

Surprisingly, everyone walked away with minor injuries, if any.

Roots drummer and Grammy Award-winning producer Amir “?uestlove” Thompson, who was one of the last two people to get off the bus, blogged about the experience just minutes after it happened, describing the experience in vivid detail.

“When I got outside and looked at what I crawled out of? Man. I just couldn't believe it,” he wrote from the hotel room where he and the others were taken for medical examination. “How in the hell did we experience this? How did we manage to…man...We are soooo alive right now. That was divine intervention. We are so grateful for this outcome.”

?uest’s entry left their participation in last night show up in the air, but they did in fact make the show at the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, performing after Consequence, Mr. Hudson, and Melanie Fiona.

The concert took place almost one year to the day of Kanye’s emotional performance in Paris last year following his mother’s death.

Now The Roots are some artists that are true about what they do. Got in an accident and still made the show. Cant give nothing but respect to them for that.

@ malik001

I hear you my man and I can garuntee they beats sound like everyone else. I know I will never let a beat go for $7. Thats just a waist of time. But then again my shit is worth a lot more than $7 to me. And I have got paid a lot more than that so I wouldnt event think about giving away some shit for $7.
