Detroit underground rap veteran Black Milk has hit the road with West Coast rhymesayer Bishop Lamont as they combine their talents for an international trek across Europe and the United States on the Caltroit Tour.

The outing will also feature Guilty Simpson as well as Slum Village’s Elzhi and Boot Camp Click member Sean Price, who will perform on additional dates in the US.

According to Black Milk, the tour offers a great chance to reconnect with his international fans.

"It is always good to go to Europe because there is so much energy in the crowd and so much love over there," the rapper stated about the tour, which kicked off Thursday (Oct. 9) at Train in Aarhus, Denmark and concludes with a Nov. 15 stop at the Key Club in Los Angeles.

The Caltroit Tour comes in support of a trio of releases that include Black Milk and Bishop Lamont’s 2007 collaborative album Caltriot, Guilty Simpson's critically acclaimed debut album Ode To The Ghetto and Black Milk’s forthcoming solo album Tronic.

The trek marks the first time Bishop Lamont and Black Milk have come together on stage to perform since the release of Caltroit.

A fixture on the underground rap scene since the release of his 2007 debut solo album Popular Demand, Black Milk has produced and appeared on songs from various artists such as Genius/GZA, Busta Rhymes, Pharoahe Monch, Kidz in the Hall, Kardinal Offishall, Guilty Simpson and Strange Fruit Project.

The Random Axe member, whose recent projects include The Set Up with Fat Ray and Black Milk Presents Caltroit with Bishop Lamont, is currently gearing up to release a full-length album in early 2009.

Black Milk’s Tronic is slated to hit stores and digital outlets on Oct. 28.
