I wish Favre the best of luck in NYC. There team is going to be terrible, but I've always liked Brett and I'd like to see him do well in. I'd hate to see him go out looking flabby and sick.

I see what you saying, but the way all of this went down is what makes this story so interesting. Look, I wished he didn't comeback as well, but the man has a right to comeback. It's messed up how he went about it, but he still has that right. He put a lot of people in a bind.

The Packers were just as wrong too. They tried their best to swept this shit under the rug for as long as they possible could have. When that didn't work, they tried to pay him off. Thank God he didn't take the money.

Favre is the last of the great QBs from the late 80's/early 90s. To the NFL, he's still a cash cow. People will tune in at home to watch Favre play and they will buy team merchandise. Look at the #s from the sale of his Jets jersey:

Sure theirs gonna be growing pains,but theirs a glut of good teams in the AFC, and Jets are gonna be one of them teams.At least the Jets spent money on a O-line,got & drafted well. I know its soooo easy to hate on the Jets,but maybe the are turning the corner.After all he was a 3pts away from the super bowl.
