Definitely had a swag & style that the world has never seen but what the above article didn't mention is that Mike was so brilliant that he wore certain things because he was aware that those particular items would accent his moves as he danced & performed on stage.Dude was a pure genius when it came to his craft.

When you see "haute couture" dresses on the runway, you never see people on the streets wearing them... instead you see them adapted into "ready to wear" garments which are toned down versions. So in MJ's case, he was on that runway and people came along after to knock off his military look, his retro 80s style, etc. A person on the street would look like a fool wearing exactly what MJ wore on stage, but that style influenced real clothes.

Look at Rihanna, JT, Usher, Chris Brown, Beyonce and all your other huge current day stars and tell me that MJ's fashion did not make a huge dent in pop culture!
