After reading this article, it just seems right now that he's on top of his game from a business standpoint. Its ok to be a rapper/artist when creating your music to entertain people & to even get a rise of people when you make something thats controversal but at what point doesn't the beefing end when it comes to making money?

I know there's going to be a lot of people hating on 50 after this interview, but lets face it people, are we going to get the same 50 before Get rich or die tryin? Hell no! What he's doing right now musically/business wise is the best thing for him at this time. Hell, in this day & age with hip hop, a brand new artist comes out raw as hell & niggaz jump all over the new hype of an artist just because the buzz or the persons talent might be off rip, but the minute that artist gets a chance a taste some of that commerical money, forget about it. A persons vision on shit changes dramastically in which in this case, 50 has changed from the "how to rob" days.

I'm not mad at any man for getting that paper because at the end of the day, we all trying to do the same thing. I don't think 50 has sold out nor has forgot where he came from because lets face it, its only been 6yrs this niggaz been in the spot light so its hard for a person just to conform to corporate bullshit. Ricky Ross on the other hand has lied to people about his shit consistently, yet people wanna say 50 not real because he ain't doing nigga shit. I dont know seems kinda off to me.

50 made a some really good points on Sgt. Ross....Every interview he gives on the Ross situation is on point and he says what a lot of normal cats are feeling. Anybody supporting Sgt. I think 50 is done, comercially, compared to his past success. But you know his next album will have some single with Em on it and do a milli ringtones, so more people will buy the album than both Talib and Mos Def combined. Sales is not the point. It's all marketing. A good album has some hype behind it cause the album sells itself based on word of mouth. A bad album can sell just as well with a guest spot from Jay-Z or T-Pain and a performance at the MTV movie awards. But a good album with solid marketing does Eminem numbers. Thats what 50 is good at - decent (not great) albums with the marketing behind it.

50's own point kills him though, cause the marketing is silent around 50 too. GRoDT did 8 milli cause of the same pop hype that Drake is getting now, and cause of "I got shot 9 times!!!". It didn't suck, and the marketing was there. Platinum. Later, the hype is a little gone, cause he aint new. We've seen and heard Fiddy all over the place and the only thing left he can do to push an album is beef with other rappers, and get better at the business side of things. He's done both of those well.

I love how people say his career is done when he just brought in another 20 million last year without an album or major tour....

Dude could put out and flop an album every month and still laugh to the bank...
