Camp Lo is one of those groups that you always wanted to drop another joint. Like a M.O.P. or something. The cats went in with that Uptown Saturday Night Joint....I still bang it till this day. Cats be looking at me funny as hell. That was an ill ass cd from front to back...Sparkle, Black Connection, Say Word, Black Nostaljack, Coolie High, Negro League....Thats just half the cd....Not to mention Luchini..I am glad someone gave these cats a change. Hope the next one is as dope. Black Hollywood was crazy! So was Lets Do It Again...Maybe now cats will check for em. But with the grain of music that comes out now I dont know. I'm from Cali, and real hip hop is more east coast, but I recognized their skills from the jump! These dudes rare flava is missed in the game. We need a lil somethin different. I remember me and my boys were fiending for Uptown Saturday Night to come out, and when it did we bumped that shit for years, and still do. I stumbled upon Lets Do it Again at Tower Records one day, copped it and loved it. There is a song on there called China Soul that is dope as fuck! I still bump that one too. Black Hollywood is fire!
