It must be a full moon because Allhiphop is on it today (lol). From the Run-D.M.C. 20th anniversary of Tougher Than Leather article to the Lauryn Hill Miseducation anniversary article and now one of the flyest women ever in Hip-Hop, whom I was just thinking about today...after I saw that Ice-T and Coco photo with Ice's and Darlene's son that is (ha, ha). When I saw it I was asking myself how could Ice let Darlene go. Buuut I know none of us are immune to relationship endings, for whatever reason. I was a young Hip Hopper when RHYME PAYS came out and heard soon after that you and Ice were married. Yo for real growing up I knew very little about Ice T ... Back then Hip Hop was played for like 1 or 2 hrs on the weekend and Ice was not was not a house hold name on Radio in Maryland. Then came the day I walked into Kemp Mill Records @ Beltway Plaza in Maryland. I remember seeing the album and then saying to myself man I don't give a f*ck if this album is hot I'm going to buy this because this is the baddest chick in the game (way before Trina) .. anyway I was glad I bought the album because it introduced me to the West sound and lyrics but as a bonus it gave me my first Hip Hop Crush - Darlene!!!
