Kevin Rudolf is pretty much Britny Spears without blonde hair and a chest. I wouldn't confuse NSYNC with hip hop just cause there's a beat behind it. This shit is pop fluff for teenagers.

re: Meet Lil Wayne's Rockstar Kevin Rudolf and His Favorite Rap/Rock Mash-Ups

99 PROBLEMS AND WALK THIS WAY WHERE MY 2 FAVORITES..

I WISH CASH MONEY THE BEST ON THIS MOVE. He does dark ass industrial beats so it was kinda a no brainer. Not every song is on point but its worth hearing. 99 Problems is great, without Walk This Way & Bring The Noize we wouldn't have this natural progression. I dont think this is a fad though, because it never went anywhere. this def is a permanent part of hip hop. hip hop has always used all elements of music. rock just happens to be a commercially viable product. so no, i dont agree with the notion that wayne has revived anything. just working with somebody doesnt shift the music game. i'd say somebody like Timbaland should be giving a lil more credit here. also, put onyx and biohazard in this mix.

re: Meet Lil Wayne's Rockstar Kevin Rudolf and His Favorite Rap/Rock Mash-Ups

oh, but the song is cool...no hate to the artist....i actually dont agree with the writer comments...lol

re: Meet Lil Wayne's Rockstar Kevin Rudolf and His Favorite Rap/Rock Mash-Ups

Kevin rudolf or whatever they call him is not rock.. I hear a little techno and keyboards going off with a guitar in the background.. I've heard real rock and this shouldn't be classified as rock.. Wayne needs to stop walking around with guitars as well like he can actually play and set the stage on fire with a solo.. It's a good concept trying to mix the two, but it hasn't been done well in a while!

re: Meet Lil Wayne's Rockstar Kevin Rudolf and His Favorite Rap/Rock Mash-Ups

IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU NEED AS A RAPPER/SINGER

GO TO

IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU NEED AS A RAPPER/SINGER

GO TO

re: Meet Lil Wayne's Rockstar Kevin Rudolf and His Favorite Rap/Rock Mash-Ups

I can dig let it rock

re: Meet Lil Wayne's Rockstar Kevin Rudolf and His Favorite Rap/Rock Mash-Ups

i cant be mad... well, i was at 1st.. just cuz i aint got all my shit together... complete.. but, its finna go back to the limpbizkit days... just more heavy on the hiphop swag...

re: Meet Lil Wayne's Rockstar Kevin Rudolf and His Favorite Rap/Rock Mash-Ups

This whole I'ma Roc star thing is a fad....just like a few yrs ago it was I'ma hustla'...or when it was "I'm grown and Sexy".

The core elements of all those still exist but the oversaturation of it is fades with time.

white tees to Jerseys to button-ups to blazers to thermals to tight shirts with skulls......

All the while the music gets less and less creative.

re: Meet Lil Wayne's Rockstar Kevin Rudolf and His Favorite Rap/Rock Mash-Ups

This whole I'ma Roc star thing is a fad....just like a few yrs ago it was I'ma hustla'...or when it was "I'm grown and Sexy".

The core elements of all those still exist but the oversaturation of it is fades with time.

white tees to Jerseys to button-ups to blazers to thermals to tight shirts with skulls......

All the while the music gets less and less creative.

re: Meet Lil Wayne's Rockstar Kevin Rudolf and His Favorite Rap/Rock Mash-Ups

I'm not a big fans of mashups.. but the illest one ive heard is from "de la soul" featuring "the teenage fan club".. a track called "fallin" .. it was off the 'judgement day' soundtrack.. anybody familiar with that?
