It’s been a minute since we got a hot track from Ciara. Her newest single “Go Girl” featuring T-Pain is something most of her fans are going to appreciate. It's definitely radio friendly, and I actually think it's one of those joints you’ll never grow tired of hearing.
I will admit the song makes you want to bob your head and turn it up, but overall I think it's missing a certain something that makes it “pop” since it is a first single.
In consulting with some of my peers regarding the song, I got some mixed reviews. Some feel that Ciara is merely following the trend hooking up with T-Pain, others say the song sounds like an album track, while the rest feel her use of the Auto-tune wasn’t a good idea.
Well for all the naysayers, I got one thing to say to you - Check out the October cover of
VIBE! You might not be feeling this track, but I bet once you see Ci Ci on the cover, you’ll be hollering “GO GIRL!”
Ciara is back, and this only marks the beginning of her return.
